Word count- 50,049/50,000: Of course I went back and wrote enough to enter the winners’ circle. I had gone from thinking I wouldn’t make it to finishing a day early and I was happy. I am still happy. I am happier with this beginning piece of writing than I thought I could be.
The first novel also made me happy. The next two, not so much but I won. This one is how I want it to be most of the time. Though it didn’t come into shape until near the end, I like my process.
Big happy, satisfied sigh!
